Tamil Christian Matrimony ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our matrimonial platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, and phone number
- Profile details you provide: date of birth, church, denomination, education, occupation, family details, photos, and partner preferences
- Usage data: messages, interests, and profile views within the platform
- Payment details processed by our payment partner (Razorpay) when you purchase a paid plan — we do not store your card or UPI details ourselves
How we use your information
- To create and display your profile to other members according to your plan and visibility settings
- To operate messaging, interests, and match features
- To verify profiles and prevent misuse of the platform
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To contact you about your account or respond to support requests
Sharing your information
Your profile details are shown to other members based on your plan. Your phone number is only ever shared with another member when you or they use the plan-gated "reveal phone number" feature — it is never shown to members browsing search or match results. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your choices
You can edit or pause your profile at any time from Settings, and you can permanently delete your account and associated data from the Settings page.
